    AnalytiChem acquires SCP SCIENCE expanding its range of sample preparation equipment, reagents, and certified reference materials.

    AnalytiChem Holding GmbH has announced the acquisition of the Seignory Chemical Products Ltd, known globally as SCP SCIENCE, headquartered Canada, with subsidiary offices in France and Germany.

    George Feilders founded SCP SCIENCE in 1980 by and it has since become a market leading manufacturer of sample preparation instruments including microwave and graphite block digestion systems, environmental chemistry analysers, certified reference materials, matrix standards, specialised chemistry reagents, and graphite, plastic, glass and quartz consumables for the atomic spectroscopy market. In 2007, SCP acquired the Conostan range of oil-based standards. SCP SCIENCE holds ISO 9001 certification covering all locations, they are also accredited to ISO 17025 and ISO 17034 for the production of certified reference materials at their manufacturing facility in Canada
