Ambient air quality
Filters for ambient air monitoring
Jul 08 2019
Due to the broad impact of air particulates and contaminants, industries, governments, and regulatory agencies around the world have developed regulations and criteria for ambient air monitoring. Developed to detect and quantify contaminants and particulates, air monitoring methods, including PM2.5 and PM10, use membrane filters and filter holders for sample collection prior to analysis. Millipore® filters, from Merck, have been developed for use with standard methods, including those of NIOSH, OSHA, and ASTM.
