Air Monitoring
A complete solution for ultrafine particulate monitoring
Sep 08 2021
TSI is has introduced a new comprehensive solution for the measurement of ultra-fine particles in the atmosphere. The instrument can sample ultrafine particles, particle number (PN) concentration as well as carrying out particle size distribution (PSD) measurements, and is adaptable to meet the end-users specific criteria. This solution complies with CEN/TS 16976:2016 and CEN/TS 17434:2020 which harmonises the sampling and measurement process. TSI’s software enables data to be simply integrated into station data management systems.
Referencing at European Centers for Calibration and Characterization
“Everybody needs reliable and accurate ambient air monitoring tools”, said Axel Zerrath, Global Product Manager at TSI. “To ensure our instruments are ready to produce data of the highest quality, the calibrations of our Condensation Particle Counters and Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer SMPS™ are conducted at one of the European Centers for Aerosol Calibration and Characterization (ECAC).”
A proven pedigree in atmospheric particulate counting and sizing
TSI launched the first continuous single-particle-counting condensation particle counter in 1979. Since then TSI have become widely perceived to be an established leader in ultrafine particle counters and sizers, as demonstrated in a host of peer-reviewed publications. TSI CPCs and SMPS operate in atmospheric monitoring stations, environmental protection agencies, the Global Atmosphere Watch, program, as well as ACTRIS-participating organisations.
