    Real Time Fugitive Particulate Monitoring

As ambient particulate levels are being shown to be of great significance to human health, it is becoming increasingly important to be able to monitor levels in ambient air. Local councils investigating fugitive emissions from local plant operation are regularly restricted in their budget and in available locations to site often bulky reference equipment. In response to this demand Signal Ambitech have launched the StreetBox Urban Pollution Monitor.
The StreetBox has recently been installed in the garden of a private
property to investigate the impact on emissions of a local foundry. In this application it was necessary to obtain real time data to monitor how operations at the plant were impacting pollution levels throughout the day.
The StreetBox provides 15 minute averages which are then verified using a gravimetric sampler co-located at the site.
