Air Monitoring
Stack Emission Monitoring
Aug 18 2010
Electrochemical sensors are widely used for stack emission monitoring. They provide accurate data and are more cost effective than other technologies. In stack emission monitoring there are often 10 or more components present in the gas at relevant concentration. Therefore the reliability of the results depends strongly on the selectivity of the used sensors. The Slim-Sensors of MEMBRAPOR (Switzerland) are best suited for this demanding detection. The advantage of these sensors is based on a unique technology of electrode manufacturing, which leads to a very high selectivity, and on specific filters with high capacity. Additionally, some sensors are equipped with a 4th auxiliary electrode to compensate a remaining cross interference. The housing of the Slim-Sensors is in a robust 3-series size and withstands the harsh conditions of emission gas monitoring.
