Come visit our booth at ACHEMA 2024!
Mar 22 2024
International Environmental Technology will be exhibiting at ACHEMA 2024 in Frankfurt, from 10th to 14th June – and if you’re interested in air monitoring and process measurement, you should join us!
ACHEMA is regarded as the world forum for the process industries, bringing 2,200 manufacturers and service providers from over 50 countries together with 70,000 chemists, engineers, process technicians and other decision-makers from nearly 130 countries. Typically, half of all attendees will be from countries other than Germany and just over half choose ACHEMA as the only trade show they’ll attend all year! It really is the nexus of the globally networked process industries and a truly unmissable chance to witness the cutting-edge of the sector up close.
Alongside all of the insight and innovation available to you in the flesh on the exhibition floor, ACHEMA 2024 will once again hold a dedicated conference, with over 600 specialist lectures offering valuable experiences, latest developments and perspectives on the most pressing challenges faced by the sector. Most relevant to our readers will be the sessions related to process innovation, lab innovation and digital innovation, where you’ll find discussions of artificial intelligence and data analytics, autonomous systems, climate-neutral production, water and wastewater management, imaging and sensing for process monitoring, digitalisation and modularisation. In just two of the many keynote address, you’ll find Dr. Mehmet Mercangöz of Imperial College London lecturing on the future of automation in process and energy industries as well as Dr. Uwe Boltersdorf of Swiss manufacturer Sulzer exploring how mimicking natural ecosystems may be the key to effective carbon capture and storage.
Fittingly for its global scope, ACHEMA 2024 is a highly accessible for most international attendees. European visitors are encouraged to take advantage of Frankfurt’s high-speed rail connections to much of the continent, offering direct services from Paris, Brussels, Zurich, Amsterdam and Milan. Once you’ve arrived at Frankfurt Central Station, catch the city’s unique S-Bahn overground metro service or hop on a tram and you’ll be at the exhibition centre in under 10 minutes – or if you fancy taking in the sites, it’s only a 20-minute walk! If you’re planning on flying, Frankfurt Airport sees over 130 flights come in and out each and every day, making it Germany's busiest airport by passenger numbers and the sixth busiest in Europe , which is hardly surprising when you consider that as of 2022, it has the most direct routes of any airport in the world, serving 330 destinations world-wide, including London, Paris, New York, Seoul, Delhi, Athens, Madrid, Amsterdam, Riyadh, Geneva. On arrival, just hop on a 15-minute S-Bahn service to Frankfurt Central Station and then, you’re within 10 minutes of Messe Frankfurt by tram or metro.
International Environmental Technology will be exhibiting in Hall 12.0 at Booth B67. This Hall will be showcase the latest in laboratory and analytical techniques for the process industries – but our readers will also be interested in Halls 11.1 and 11.0. In 11.1, visitors will find control and automation techniques; in 11.0, you’ll find pumps, compressors, valves, industrial safety solutions and techniques for materials testing.
