Gill Instruments (UK), a and world specialist in ultrasonic weather monitoring, has launched the MetPak PricePak campaign – an exclusive price promotion offering MetPak multi-sensor weather stations configured with remote wind sensors.

The PricePak promotion is Gill’s first price package offer, allowing customers to buy complete all-in-one, multi-sensor weather stations with an ultrasonic wind sensor from a selection of the Gill range at a greatly discounted price. Developed to cater for customers exact weather measurement requirements, the PricePak bundles deliver high quality data and unmatched reliability at an exceptional price.

The offer includes MetPak and MetPak Pro base station units which feature Gill’s latest ultrasonic technology, providing customers with comprehensive weather monitoring systems. Lightweight and compact, the systems are completely solid-state and offer exceptional reliability in some of the world’s most challenging environments.

Capable of monitoring multiple weather parameters, MetPak provides precision meteorological data including air temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, dew point and wind speed and direction. The enhanced multi-parameter weather station features an on-board high accuracy barometric pressure sensor and a Rotronic Hygroclip HC2-S3 temperature/humidity probe housed in a naturally aspirated radiation shield.

MetPak Pro is a professional weather system offering an extension to the weather monitoring capabilities of MetPak with additional precipitation measurement, PRT input and a further two analogue inputs to connect to a vast array of third party sensors.

Each of the base stations included in the package can be integrated with a 2-axis or 3-axis wind sensor covering a variety of key functionalities such as high wind speed measurement up to 75 m/s, 3 –axis data outputs and optional heating capabilities.

Gill has the largest range of ultrasonic wind sensors currently on the market, suitable for use in extreme operating environments where easy installation, minimal maintenance and highly accurate data collection is critical.
