ZAF/ZAFE Thermal Conductivity Analyser
Jul 31 2015
The Fuji ZAF/ZAFE Thermal Conductivity Analysers are used to measure the concentration of gases - including He, Ar, H2, CH2 and CO2 - with high stability and accuracy. The ZAF Analyser is used for general use applications while the ZAFE is designed for applications in hazardous locations.
The analysers determine gas concentrations by using reference and measuring chambers. Both chambers have heated platinum wires within them; when the composition of the gas in the measuring chamber changes, the temperature and electrical resistance of the platinum wire also changes, this change allowing the analysers to determine the change of the measured gas’ concentration. The analyser then uses the reference chamber to crosscheck the measurement.
Both ZAF and ZAFE analysers feature easy-to-see LCD screens and the ability to output the analyser’s readings as a linearised output signal, as well as optional features such as automatic zero-point/span calibration, RS232C communication and the automatic correction of interference from other gases.
