Air Monitoring
London to discuss poor air quality
Aug 06 2010
Earlier this week, King's College London announced that its London Air Quality Network seminar will take place on September 21st 2010.
It is intended that the conference will discuss the progress that the capital has made in achieving EU Limit Values on air pollution in the city.
According to a statement from King's College London: "The seminar will explore the challenges posed by the management of NO2 and PM10 in the capital and also in other European cities."
A workshop will also be held to discuss the use of the OpenAir website - which enables access to LondonAir measurements - and how it can help professionals to analyse local air pollution levels.
Last month, the Royal Society of Chemistry announced that an air quality exhibition and discussion will also take place in the capital.
Between December 14th and 15th, the Monitoring Ambient Air 2010: New Air Quality Measurement Technologies event will see European leaders and environmental experts discuss ways to improve air pollution.
