Easy Evaluation of Mass Flow Meter and Controller
Apr 10 2014
Axetris (Switzerland) offers a broad range of mass flow meter and controllers including ultra compact modules for system integration, stand alone types and complete system for gas mixing and splitting. The product range has been specially designed for the need of OEM customer. To allow an easy and straight forward evaluation and to reduce design in time Axetris introduced a new revision of its LabKit.
The LabKit consists of a LabView based Graphical User Interface and an RS-232/USB interface allowing a direct PC or Labtop connection. The Graphical User Interface (GUI) allows to read and display the measured gas flow and contains also a configurable data logger. For the mass flow controllers it can be used to adjust the flow set point and to select the valve control mode (automatic or manual). It is possible to select a constant set point or a rectangular set point curve. In addition the customer can define an arbitrary set point curve to simulate the behavior of his system as close as possible. The GUI can also be used to read device information like type, serial number and calibration.
The LabKit is available for qualified OEM customers starting in April 2014. The MFM/MFC 2000 mass flow controller family persuades with an industry leading dynamic range and excellent repeatability and response time. All devices modules are available with calibrations for the following gases: Air, N2, O2, Ar, CO2, He, H2 (more to come) and with ranges 10-3000 sccm (N2 equivalent). Analogue 0...5 V and 4...20 mA and digital RS-232 TTL, RS-232 EIA and RS-485 is supported.
