Air Monitoring
A New-Look Website for Sensor Manufacturer
Feb 18 2014
Alphasense (UK) are pleased to announce that our website has been completely redesigned and is now available to view on-line immediately. The website contains two sections, Alphasense Safety and the newly introduced Alphasense Air (Air Quality Monitoring).
Alphasense Safety comprises electrochemical sensors which detect Oxygen and Toxic gases, infrared sensors for Carbon Dioxide and Hydrocarbons, Photo Ionisation Detectors (PIDs) for the detection of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and fully certified Pellistors for combustible gas detection.
Alphasense AIR comprises affordable wireless air quality networking combining Alphasense low cost and high sensitivity sensors linked with electronics, GPS, GSM, physical sensors and advanced data algorithms. Alphasense designs and manufactures sensors for inorganic gases and VOCs, where parts per billion (ppb) detection are required, and optical aerosol/particulate monitors for PM 2.5 through PM10.0.
With a broad portfolio of products and support for detecting all of the common and many of the exotic gases, Alphasense has established a reputation as the source for a wide range of gas sensor technologies for both portable and fixed site air quality monitors for urban air, indoor air quality and odour detection.
The website will have a new look and downloadable technical datasheets and application notes; these now contain more comprehensive technical information and data, a Stop Press section containing the latest press releases, Information Bulletins - downloadable documents that keep you informed of company and product news at Alphasense and current vacancies and a news section which allows users to quickly see what is new to the website since the last update.
Alphasense plan to update the website regularly and are already planning to include downloadable product reviews on each sensor, application notes and links to other related sites. They have avoided using imported images and photographs to ensure downloading each screen when on-line takes the minimum of time for optimum performance. Each new page is clearly set out and designed to minimise the amount of scrolling down required; Alphasense believe customers would prefer to click to another, easy to read screen, rather than repeatedly scrolling down to get to the information of interest.
