IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS to be Held Annually in Future
IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS, the biggest trade fair for environmental technologies in China, is changing from a biennial to an annual cycle. The next IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS will take place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) at the beginning of May 2011.

With effect from 2011, IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS will be held annually in spring. By staging the trade fair on an annual basis in future, Messe München is taking account of the successful cooperation with Shanghai ZM International Exhibition Co., Ltd, and of the high acceptance of IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS.

“The cooperation with ZM has been very well-received on the national and international market. The shortening to an annual cycle is an important step towards adapting the event even more intensively to the increasing dynamism of the Chinese environmental market in the interest of exhibitors and their customers” said Eugen Egetenmeir, Managing Director Messe München GmbH.

According to Mr. Jiang Gang, General Manager of Shanghai ZM International Exhibition Co., Ltd., “the switch to an annual cycle, which the industry is already accustomed to through EPTEE + CWS, sends an important signal to decisionmakers from politics and industry that the joint event IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS is the most important trade fair for the environmental technology industry in China”.

The first joint IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS of the two cooperation partners - Messe München International and ZM - will open its doors in four weeks’ time from May 5 to 7, 2010 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). The next IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS will then take place at SNIEC at the beginning of May 2011.
