Blackline Safety Corp. has announced a new AUS $1.4 million deal with an Australian water utility provider.
Having commissioned a third-party analysis that cited Blackline Safety’s devices as the world’s best lone worker solution, the water utility organisation opted for Blackline, supported by their Australian Channel Partner to supply the Blackline lone worker safety app, Loner Mobile, and G7c cloud-connected devices. The highly acclaimed wearable G7c. which includes highly innovative features such as an SOS latch, fall and no motion detection, and real-time connectivity, provides personnel with a crucial lifeline in the event of a safety-related incident.
Blackline Safety has announced several prestigious contracts with water utility providers in the last few years: the company’s cutting-edge instruments currently protect half of the UK’s water and wastewater organisations.
Water utility industry personnel face a multitude of dangers at work such as exposure to explosive or toxic gases, adverse weather conditions, working in confined spaces, falls, confrontations with customers, as well as working alone in locations with poor or no cellular coverage.
Blackline Safety’s Vice President of International Sales, Peter Attalla commented, “More and more utility companies around the world are opting for Blackline devices because they want the best to protect their people. We’re noticing that utility companies want this protection from a single provider who offers a turnkey solution with no expensive infrastructure or complicated setup—Blackline’s solutions tick all the boxes,”.
The contract also includes three years of monitoring services by Blackline’s Safety Operations Center which is available around the clock and is capable of responding to a critical safety incident within a matter of seconds.
