Water Quality Monitoring
Truly Portable, Instant Oil in Water Monitoring
Nov 25 2013
AMS Equipment Limited (UK) are delighted to bring to market the brand new Advanced Sensors portable HD-1000 Oil in Water Analyser.
Benefitting from the same UV-fluorescence technology that is present in the well established and popular, larger Advanced Sensors online analysers the HD-1000 breaks new ground in Oil in Water analysis.
Unlike traditional portable measurement methods, no solvent extraction is required for sample preparation and measurement using the HD-1000. This limits the operator’s exposure to toxic chemicals and greatly reduces the time required to take an accurate measurement of the sample – with the HD-1000 results are available instantly.
Weighing 0.8kg, the HD-1000 is the world’s first genuinely portable Oil in Water analyser. It can fit easily into the user’s hand. This enables the operator to carry out spot checks in various locations around site to quickly and accurately build up a profile of oil in water levels within the plant. Until now, one has had to take samples, go back to the lab, extract using solvents and then carry out the analysis all of which takes valuable time.
