Jul 08 2011
It can often be difficult to provide training for employees who work flexible hours or have a high workload. ACT (UK) have been working hard over the past ten years to address the increasing need for flexible training and thanks to a joint venture with RMS Publishing, are now offering a range of e-learning training solutions.
They have become increasingly popular and are very successful; the NEBOSH suite of products includes General Certificate, Certificate in Construction and National Diploma.
As an alternative to the traditional IOSH taught course ACT have been offering the ‘IOSH Managing Safely’ in e-learning format, a fantastic, cost effective way of enabling managers that need flexible learning to gain this important award. This 30 hour package assists users in meeting the requirements of the IOSH syllabus and the final assessment can be done in their own workplace. Building on its success ACT can offer the ‘Working Safely’ qualification aimed at workers from any sector, it provides grounding in the essentials of health and safety. This 7 hour web based e-learning package enables employees to gain the IOSH award without leaving their workplace and at a pace that suits them. The package is fully interactive, visually engaging and offers an enjoyable method of learning by way of supporting exercises and hazard identification animations.
Students can study anywhere and at anytime, a flexible and cost effective way of achieving excellent results and gaining these important awards.
