Separatory Funnel Rotary Agitator
Jun 24 2009
Associated Design and Manufacturing (USA) is pleased to announce a new Separatory Funnel Rotary Agitator. P/N 3704-6SFA is capable of holding 6, 2 - Liter separatory funnels and P/N 3740-12SFA unit is capable of holding 12, - 2 Liter separatory funnels and are designed to operate end-over-end fashion. Both Separatory Funnel Rotary Agitator’s allow for the Separatory Funnel Bottles to be vented.
Designed to be a workhorse in the laboratory these Separatory Funnel Rotary Agitators take the place of the lengthy and laborious process for lab technicians. Additionally these agitators can be used as liquid-liquid extractors. The use of our new device will eliminate one of the most important sources of variability in the use of separatory funnel extractions, the variation in the level of effort and the length of time that the technician invests in each sample. This should improve QA/QC performance when duplicate samples, matrix spikes, and laboratory control samples are analyzed as well as allowing the use of long extraction cycles to enhance surrogate recoveries. This improved performance should result in cost savings in the extraction lab in addition to the labor savings associated with unattended operation.
These two Separatory Funnel Rotary Agitators can operate at 30RMP +/- 2, options can be ordered with a built in 0-30n hour timer, for unattended operation, a spill tray for containing spills, a hinged see-through safety shield, a variable speed drive motor and a RMP meter kit.Digital Edition
