New Reference Standards Target Mycotoxins in Cannabis
Sep 02 2020
Mycotoxins are toxic secondary metabolite compounds produced by mould or fungi. Due to the toxicity of certain mycotoxins that can be found on cannabis plants, there is a growing need to detect their presence in both raw plant materials and finished cannabis products.
Restek now offers two new mycotoxin certified reference materials (CRMs): Ochratoxin A and Aflatoxins (B1, B2, G1, G2).
These new reference standards enable labs to expand their cannabis analyses with a Restek solution when coupled with the its high-throughput Raptor ARC-18 LC column.
