CEMS
Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems and Lower Explosive Limit Monitors (CEMS & LEL)
Apr 05 2017
With hundreds of systems installed in the UK, Orbital’s integration provides a cost-effective solution which complies with European standards, using MCERTS equipment from Siemens, Gasmet and LEL monitors from Control Instruments Corporation.
Orbital CEMS employ the Gasmet CEMS II which is EN 15267-3 approved for a wide range of parameters including HCl, HF and Formaldehyde. Each system is designed to meet specific customer needs. Orbital can also manufacture smaller compact CEMS systems incorporating a moisture detection and trip system, with fast loop sampling to increase T90 time.
The CIC LEL solvent monitor has a fast response time of less than 1 sec and provides constant, accurate and reliable readings even under changing conditions. It’s Robust, and designed for a long working life, the sample train is heated to prevent sample condensation and to withstand corrosion. The system cannot be poisoned and is designed to protect safety under all conditions.
Visitors to Stand 54 at AQE 2017 will be invited to guess the mileage of a Yamaha FS1E (known as the sixteener special back in the 70’s) to win an iPad.
