Air Monitoring

Smart and easy CEMS for end user and OEM applications on show in Barcelona

Jul 20 2023

Umwelttechnik MCZ GmbH (MCZ) is excited to showcase its highly successful range of air monitoring instrumentation analysers at the upcoming exhibition in Barcelona. This event will provide an excellent platform for professionals and stakeholders to explore MCZ's innovative gas analysis solutions.

MCZ specialises in developing and manufacturing highly advanced devices and systems for gas analysis, catering to both end users and OEM systems. The company's extensive range of offerings includes calibration systems for gas analysis, from manual gas blenders to computer-controlled quality assurance laboratories. Additionally, MCZ provides systems for zero gas processing, software for evaluating measured values, and a huge range of samplers for gas and dust sampling.

One of the key highlights at MCZ's exhibition booth will be their SmartCEM and EasyCEM analyser, a highly acclaimed instrument that has achieved considerable success in the market. The SmartCEM analyser offers operators a user-friendly interface and customisable features, making it an exceptional choice for monitoring a variety of gases. This versatile device employs the NDIR or NDUV method to monitor gases such as CO, CO2, NO, SO2, CH4, NO2or the sum of hydrocarbons. Additionally, it uses a TDLS measure to monitor NH3, HCL, and CH4. By incorporating additional modules, the EasyCEM analyser can also measure different gases such as O2, H2O2, CL2, CLO2, C2H4O, PH3 and many others using the electrochemical measuring method. O2 analyser is also available with zirconia cell or paramagnetic sensor.

Designed to cater to a wide range of applications, the SmartCEM and EasyCEM analysers finds utility in industrial process gas analysis, process control and regulation, as well as laboratory settings. Available as a single or multi-component analyser, it enables simultaneous measurement of up to four gases in the ppm and vol% range. The analyser’s flexible and customisable structure ensures its adaptability to specific measurement tasks, making it an ideal solution for numerous applications.

True to its name, the EasyCEM analyser offers users effortless operation, simplifying complex gas analysis processes. It is equipped with an RS232 interface and is available in either a 19" slide-in housing or desktop housing, providing users with flexibility in installation options. For enhanced functionality, optional extras are available, including an integrated pump, 0(4) - 20mA output, limit contacts, input filter, flow meter, and a built-in NO2 to NO converter for parallel NO and NO2 measurements.

For monitoring interference-free ethylene or ethylene oxide in ppb level MCZ offers the GC 2020, a gas chromatograph with PID detector but designed as a plug-and-play system.
