New Fire Testing FTIR Delivered to China
Jan 10 2011
Protea (UK) and their Chinese Partners Palmary Technology of Beijing have recently won a hard fought order to deliver a dedicated FTIR gas analyser into TUV in China. TUV are a world class test house with an outstanding reputation for quality. The specialised FTIR gas analyser is required to measure combusted materials used in the rail transport industry and will conform to internationally recognised rail testing regulation DIN5510-2.
Nick Whitley, Protea’s International sales Manager says “We really delighted that Palmary Technology has been successful in winning this project in the face of extremely strong competition. Our new state of the art high resolution FTIR spectrometer is perfectly suited to this application where the ISO 19702 Standard requires the fast measurement 10 different organic and inorganic compounds including such toxic gases as Hydrogen Cyanide, Hydrogen Fluoride and Acrolein.
We know from years of development and experience that our instruments with their high resolution FTIR spectrometers and sophisticated PAS chemometric spectral analysis software are ideally suited for this type of difficult application. The instrument will be delivered to the customer fully tested and ready to use, with all the required analytical software models pre-loaded and independently verified by an accredited test house.
We are looking forward to working with Palmary Technology in the future to become industry leader for this type of measurement in China.”
