Heated Portable Gas Sample Probe
Dec 06 2010
The JPES Series from JCT (Austria) is used for applications where periodic monitoring is required over a short time period. Operators and Test Laboratories require lightweight and easy to handle equipment that are designed to meet a whole range of process parameters and regulatory needs. Traditional methods can be expensive, heavyweight or technically poor. The JPES changes this completely: it is high quality, lightweight, easy to set up and offers the user a superior product that can easily be taken to the sample point with the flexibility to give excellent performance on virtually every application.
The JPES probe works by removing particulates from the gas measurement stream and is the primary filtration device for the overall analysis system. It is fully heated to eliminate cold spots that cause filter element blockages due to the build up of wet particulates. The design and location of the internal heaters ensure that the probe has absolutely no cold spots where condensation can form, additionally the clever design of the supplied heated hose means that the temperature controller, thermocouple cable and voltage supply cables are all integrated into the device. This means that the operator has only one connection to make to the site power supply.
The JPES portable probe is supplied in a lightweight and compact carry case. Once on site, the operator only has to take out the probe and connect the supplied heated hose and connect the power cable to the site connection. Within a short time, the probe is up to temperature and the sample monitoring can begin.
