Call for papers for CEM India Emission monitoring conference

Aug 24 2023

From 20th to 22nd February 2024, ILM Exhibitions’ CEM India will return to New Delhi for its third outing, bringing together process operators, plant managers, end users, regulators and researchers for a conference and exhibition on continuous monitoring. To stimulate informed discussion amongst our delegates, CEM India is now accepting abstracts for oral presentations and posters with a deadline of 20th October. Selected oral presentations will be allocated 15-20 minutes as part of the main programme and selected posters will be displayed in a dedicated area of the conference hall. With no less than 500 delegates typical of CEM India, those selected can expect a sizeable and enthusiastic audience.

Submissions addressing the following topics will be considered:
•    Continuous ambient air quality monitoring systems (CAAQMS): proven technology, operation and maintenance
•    Gaseous CEMs: technology suitability, operation and maintenance, with a focus on measuring NOx, SO2, CO and CO2
•    Particulate matter CEMs: technology suitability, operation and maintenance
•    Continuous effluent quality monitors (CEQMS): technology suitability, operation and maintenance, with a focus on wastewater
•    Quality assurance and quality control systems (QA/QC) for CEMS and CEQMS
•    Guidelines for continuous emission, water and effluent quality monitoring
•    Emissions Trading Schemes (ETS): scope and experiences around the world
•    Case studies on current monitoring solutions for industry
•    Manual pollution monitoring: technological innovations and experiences
•    Regulations and practices for pollution monitoring
•    Real-time data: acquisition and use in compliance
•    Trace pollutant species (including metals, mercury and dioxins): existing technology, operation and maintenance of suitable monitors

One of the world's fastest growing economies, India has taken an important step in adopting continuous emissions monitoring systems, or CEMS, for real-time monitoring and compliance, with its Central Pollution Control Board directing plants in highly polluting sectors to explore installation.

In 2024, with two successful events under their belt, CEM India will provide visitors with the latest insights on Indian regulation and policy, monitoring guidelines, calibration and quality control, with two days of presentations from an international cohort of experts,  discussing best practice, installation, procedures and data capture. The CEM India exhibition will run parallel with the conference as a showcase of domestic and international manufacturers and suppliers, all of whom will be more than willing to share their insights and experience.
